Recently established in 2026 and based in Chorley, 1S Solutions is the realisation of a long-held ambition for Andrew Stott. Andy is a family man who places a strong value on trust - something he believes is essential in all areas of life, and especially so in business. That belief sits at the heart of how 1S Solutions works with every customer.

Andy has been an Approved Electrician since 2003 and brings over 20 years of hands-on experience. During that time he has worked on major projects across Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham & London, including University installation projects, state of the art LED lighting installs, Fire Alarm systems, CCTV systems and large-scale Industrial sites.

Building on this foundation, Andy moved into Industrial Maintenance Engineering and later into a Maintenance Leader role where he introduced sophisticated, bespoke systems that significantly reduced machine breakdowns and improved reliability. This combination of installation expertise and problem-solving in complex environments is what sets 1S Solutions apart.

So why 1S and why now? Andy says “I love people, and I love solving problems. Being able to work directly with my customers, and combining both my key skills I have gained over the years with helping my customers out there gives me great motivation”.
